Memories of the Month - Here's a great idea for wrapping up the month with a set of questions to remember how your last month with. I love going back and reading through what happened throughout the years.

This month I was happy about: new possibilities in our family’s near future.

This month I was sad about: Alex going through this separation anxiety since school has started and I’m back to my regular schedule. 🙁

Something I accomplished this month was: switching cellphone carriers.

Something new I did was: started using a Droid. However, I really want an iPhone…one day, one day!

This year I’m going to rate the books & movies. Here’s my rating system:
♥ ♥ = Love it! A must read/see!
♥ = Really good! Highly recommend.
&#10003 &#10003 = Good, not great
&#10003 = Not much to talk about
X = Awful. Total waste of time

Books I read were:
Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream &#10003 (Could not finish-dry and boring)
by David Platt
7: An Experimental Mutiny Against Excess (still reading but love so far)
by Jen Hatmaker

Movies I watched were:
Captain America
Hitch (watched for the 4th or 5th time) ♥ ♥

TV Shows I watched were:
Burn Notice
America’s Got Talent
SYTYCD
The Bachelorette
Friday Night Lights (watching on Netflix by myself)

My favorite song this month was: meh. Didn’t really have one I guess.

What I remember about work was: having to train 13 new student workers, due to everyone’s hours being cut because of Obama-care!

A lesson I learned this month was: when you’re a couple of months from retirement, you just don’t care anymore.

A friend and I: finally ate lunch together!

My favorite pic (not previously posted) that I took was:
Pack29Survivor - 05 (Photo bomb by big brother!)

I cooked: bacon covered pork loin, veggie pizzas, and other stuff…I think.

The boys were: ready to start back to school.

My husband has: been busy gearing up for all the scout activities coming up.

The thing I’ll remember most from this month was: being stressed out already!
