By | April 15, 2018

I know I say it every year, but this year is just flying by. I don’t know why I’m every surprised. How are you doing on your scriptures? Whether you’re memorizing them, just keeping them nearby for encouragement throughout the week, or using them for bible journaling, it is great to have some scriptures that are your GO TO scriptures in time of need. This month have several of my favorites!

May Scripture-a-Week - Is memorizing Bible Verses a goal you have? This Scripture-a-Week printable will help you get started with some great scriptures for the month of May!

Like I said these scriptures for May are a few of my all time favs. However I don’t have them memorized completely. I have the jist of a few of these in my head, but not word for word. I love when I’m speaking to someone and they are encouraging and quote straight from the Word. “You know it says in Joshua ‘ Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous?'” I just love that and I want to be able to do that myself.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
~Psalm 19:14

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
~Romans 5:8

Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
~Hebrew 12:2

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
~Joshua 1:9

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
~Proverbs 22:6
