As an American, I know I take my freedom for granted, so I was thinking finding a couple scripture related to freedom would help me to remember something I don’t often think of.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
~2 Corinthians 3:17

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
~Galatians 5:1

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.
~Romans 6:22

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…”
~Psalms 46:1-2

“No weapon that is formed against you will prosper…”
~Isaiah 54:17
