I have had a craving for apples and oatmeal lately. I decided to make these Apple Walnut Oatmeal Muffins. These turned out so good and I think they’re my second favorite muffins!

Apple Walnut Oatmeal MuffinsServings: 12 muffins
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-12 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup flour, sifted
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup old fashioned oatmeal
1 cup chopped apples, pared
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 cup walnuts

Apple Walnut Oatmeal MuffinsDirections:
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
2. Sift together dry ingredients except for oatmeal, walnuts, and apples.
3. Beat egg and milk together; add to flour mixture.
4. Stir in oatmeal, walnuts, and apples
5. Spoon into greased muffin tins.
5. Bake for about 10-12 minutes.
